Privacy Policy — Atelier Rose
Atelier Rose (“we”, “the app”) helps you plan interiors with AI. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. It works together with our Terms & Conditions.
Information we collect
- Account: email address and authentication identifiers (Firebase Auth). Google Sign-In provides your Google account email and basic profile when you choose that option.
- Profile: optional display name, phone, and avatar you upload.
- Design data: room names, design briefs, chat messages, saved product selections, layout plans, and room photos you provide.
- Usage & diagnostics: crash reports and performance data (Firebase Crashlytics) in release builds; app interaction events via Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase in release builds (for example sign-in, room creation, chat, layout/preview, product link opens, and paywall/purchase funnel events — not chat text or photos); App Check tokens to protect our APIs. Google may process device identifiers and usage data as described in Google’s privacy documentation for Analytics.
- Purchases: subscription and credit purchases are processed by the app store and RevenueCat; we store wallet balances and a purchase ledger on our servers.
How we use information
- To provide AI design chat, product suggestions, layout plans, and look previews.
- To sync your spaces across devices when you are signed in and your email is verified (where verification is required).
- To bill AI usage against your credit wallet and fulfill purchases.
- To secure the service (authentication, App Check) and fix crashes.
- To operate and improve reliability, product quality, and safety of the Service (including understanding feature usage via Analytics). We do not sell your personal information.
AI and third parties
Prompts, room photos, and related context may be sent to our cloud functions and upstream AI / search providers (for example Google Gemini and product search APIs) solely to generate responses and product suggestions for your request. Those providers process the data as needed to return results; we do not sell your personal information to them.
Product links may use affiliate programs; if you purchase through those links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Storage and retention
Design data is stored locally on your device and, when signed in, in Firebase (Firestore / Storage) under your user account. To request deletion of your account and associated cloud data, contact markbabatope@gmail.com. You can also clear local app data from your device settings (this removes on-device copies but does not by itself delete your cloud account). Crash logs are retained according to Firebase Crashlytics defaults. Analytics events are retained according to Google Analytics for Firebase / GA4 defaults for the linked property.
Your choices
- You can use the app after creating an account; some features require a verified email.
- You can revoke Google Sign-In access from your Google account settings.
- You can clear local app data from your device settings (this removes on-device copies).
- You may request account and cloud data deletion by emailing markbabatope@gmail.com.
Children
Atelier Rose is not directed at children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher age of digital consent required in your region, to use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy by publishing a new version (the version number and date above, and in the app). When we publish a material update, you may be asked to review and accept the new Privacy Policy in the app before continuing to use your account. Until you accept, access to the Service may be limited.
